SkyRo P When I decided to watch the horror film House of Fears, I braced myself for what I thought would be a ridiculously bad and dreadful experience. And my expectations were met, as the movie unfolded in a haunted house setting that offered characters the chance to confront their fears, albeit in a way that felt disjointed and nonsensical at times. The fears portrayed in the film lacked coherence and realism, failing to truly tap into the potential of the spooky house premise. The haunting incidents that befell the character Makenlie were confusing and lacked clarity, leaving viewers struggling to make sense of the events unfolding on screen. The entire movie seemed to be a string of absurd and illogical scenes from start to finish, with a plot, cast, and storyline that fell flat in their execution. House of Fears failed to deliver on its promise of scares, offering little more than a basic and unimpressive viewing experience. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review Kam P Better than I expected, with a few jump scares Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review jeff l This movie may scare people who are easily frightened. If I were a teenager, I would have enjoyed it much more than I did. It's nothing new,but entertaining enough. Check it out. You may like it. You may not. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This was definitely not the worst teens in a haunted house movie I have ever seen. The acting was so so the actors were the typical obnoxious characters where you almost cant wait for them to die. The haunted house set was actually pretty good but I couldn't get past the plot or the story. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Movie was okaaaaay. It wasn't scary though. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review don s A slasher movie with a decent concept - a totem that reads your fears and confronts you with them within the confines of a haunted house - but horrible execution. The production values are pretty good for the low budget, but the effects are fairly lame and the acting is downright bad. The dialogue is awful as well (maybe causing some of the bad acting?). Loads of jump scares that won't make any true horror fan jump and not much else. Nice try, but not good enough. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
