It's clear that effort went into the making of Elm Lake. The blood and gore effects are acceptable, the story could have only used a few rewrites, and the cast is strong. See more 07/06/2018 I think people who actually watch horror movies realized that this is the same story of '' Amityville horror'' just by reading the description.... I watched anyways, the movie is not that bad, it's just there's nothing new anymore, nothing surprising or nothing worth seeing and also I think that if you're trying to make a movie that's based on a good movie (Amityville horror) it has to be great movie...
