Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member I think people who actually watch horror movies realized that this is the same story of '' Amityville horror'' just by reading the description.... I watched anyways, the movie is not that bad, it's just there's nothing new anymore, nothing surprising or nothing worth seeing and also I think that if you're trying to make a movie that's based on a good movie (Amityville horror) it has to be great movie...       Norman Gidney Film Threat It's clear that effort went into the making of Elm Lake. The blood and gore effects are acceptable, the story could have only used a few rewrites, and the cast is strong. Yet it's so close to being watchable that it's almost a crime that it falls short.
