Different to what I normally watch, this film intrigued me with solid commentary on what it means to be truly hungry for notorioty and popularity. It exposes what it means to lose your soul in the pursuit of fame. There is a feel good moment at the end when coming home is so clearly what makes our young protagonist feel whole again.

I wish I could get this 2.5 hours of my life back. High budget, great cinematography, solid acting, with NO plot. Several (seemingly) plot twists, with NO explanation of why/ or how they connected. Eerie music in every scene with no outcome. I feel like the movie was to inside of it itself, with a shallow existential message.

worst movie ive seen in a while!!! random intense shots that lead to nothing, over dramatic. if you want to watch something about an intense chef watch the bear this movie is terrible and has no overarching plot. too long almost three hours long and only a 12 interesting seconds the rest made me want to pull out hairs but i had to finish it with family. super predictable

Predictable and disappointing. I check RT and IMDB before watching movies and, in this case, I can’t understand how it has such a high rating. The movie follows an extremely predictable format, the acting is not memorable and the movie as a whole can be pretty much figured out in a few minutes from starting it. The weird idealization of nuveau riche is badly veiled as a critique, and there are a lot of moments that are downright idiotic. I was immensely disappointed, and almost stopped watching it, but I was watching it with a friend so we endured it for the sake of it. I felt embarrassed for recommending it.
