andrea c Film sulla cucina tra i più interessanti ed originali mai prodotti, che non solo porta alla scoperta di una cucina lontana da quella occidentale, ma che soprattutto ribalta tutti i clichè del genere; rompendo finalmente il taboo per cui lo chef è per forza una persona mossa da buoni sentimenti. Ben costruita la sceneggiatura, così come le performance degli attori; senza dubbio i colori e la fotografia danno un grandissimo valore aggiunto; così come la scelta di non rappresentare la classica cucina di un ristorante, bensì una brigata che cucina in eventi privati ed in luoghi diversi. Il personaggio del capo chef è assolutamente unico nel genere ed estremamente interessante; sviluppato e dovere e magnetico davanti allo schermo; molto più della protagonista al femminile. Il finale scontato toglie qualche merito ma anche in quel caso, qualche particolarietà nel "duello" finale viene a galla. As a film producer and editor for the past 30 years, I have always tried my best to make and edit the best possible movie, documentary or commercial. This film is one of the best made films I have ever seen, if my team could make something like this, I honestly would die happy. It is a story told with confidence and mastery, the performance and editing is the best there is in Asia and the world. The script has slight flows, but hey try writing one yourself before you critize others, it is so hard to write a good script, everyone in the world is trying to do that. Most fail. This film wins for me and I am recommending it to everyone I know. I am not a bot but a filmmaker in Australia. It exposes what it means to lose your soul in the pursuit of fame. There is a feel good moment at the end when coming home is so clearly what makes our young protagonist feel whole again. Several (seemingly) plot twists, with NO explanation of why/ or how they connected. Eerie music in every scene with no outcome.
