Danielle S We were pleasantly surprised by this action/drama film that we had never heard of and that has seemingly completely disappeared from the IMDB resumes of the people involved with it. It was a great film, with some wonderful twists: the Hearst scene, the gender flip scene, and the one where the Lieutenant reveals at the very end that he is much more than a Lieutenant! Very fun movie, and we would watch it again! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/13/15 Full Review Dave J Thursday, November 7, 2013 (1988) Hunted THRILLER Although, the movie is quite terrible, this film directed by David Lister from 1988 is one of few movies that's not in the imdb.com movie registry. Based on the Alan Scholefield story which is similar to the Richard Connell story who was made famous by being the one responsible for the movie "The Most Dangerous Game" in 1932 which inspired many different versions which centers on man hunting man. The story takes place back during a specific time period which was at the brink of WWII. A sadistic captain accidently kills someone and tries to pin the death on the Italian POW held captive. He then manages to escape befriending a precocious 10 year old Native African boy while the Captain is trying to kill him since he witnessed this accidental death. Straight to rental and low budget which doesn't do a very good job in explaining the situation which I had to read the back of the commercial video case, and I shouldn't have to do that. 1 star out of 4 Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/07/13 Full Review Read all reviews
