A gang of young thieves in the midst of a home robbery get more than they bargained for when they are captured by the property owners. Attacked and bound by their captors, they are spirited away from the home and released in the middle of nowhere tracked, hunted and to be killed like animals. Pursued by bloodhounds and a heavily armed family, the resourceful thieves will not die without a fight. Hunted is a seriously suspenseful action-thriller.

Editor Tommy Boulding’s first directorial feature is a decent-enough if not particularly inspired thriller. One problem is that the most sympathetic among our heroes is the first to be offed.

I think this intended to be some sort of allegory and or social commentary, but it's just an unamusing, badly acted, and not very tense 'thriller'. How can you possibly make being eaten by pack hounds boring? This film answers admirably addresses this question.

Totally unbelievable, no one walks around, hangs out in a house, all the while being hunted. After you see someone killed, no one is walking. NRJ.

The acting wasn't terrible, but still felt stagey. So did the characters actions. I think of burglaries as fast, andrenaline fueled affairs... not four people walking around in a daydream having poignant moments with jewellery boxes. The film felt like a bunch of people on a movie set. What criminal sits in a car at night with a blue dashboard light highlighting his face?

Spoilers: I'd have liked it a lot more if the whole idea wasn't "root for the thieves since the people they're stealing from are rich". Like don't get me wrong I understand the rich people are hunting humans for sport, that's awful. But the only reason they're hunting these characters is because they decided to rob them. The ONLY character I feel bad for is Leon, he didn't deserve that and only started doing that to send his brother through school which is respectable. Then his ungrateful brother and awful friends talked him into that job. Anyways, if the rich family had abducted them instead and then hunted them I would've liked this more. Not a fan of these "rooting for looters" movies that keep popping up.
