After crashing on a barren planet, commandos (Clark Bartram, Simon Potter) led by Cmdr. Karza (Isaac C. Singleton Jr.) are charged with finding and recapturing their one-time alien prisoner alive. But their group numbers begin to dwindle, one by one, as the alien sets traps for them. Lt. connor m Extremely impressive given the low budget, Sandy Collora proves himself to be a very talented director here, I just wish he was able to show off his talents with a bigger budget film. The pacing if a tad patchy, but overall Hunter Prey stands up against the blockbuster sci-fi films out there. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I found this movie to be a simple movie but it kept me watching and for a low budget film the story and quality is very good. It's not a fast action movie full of CGI, so if that is what you want then this is not for you. If you want a movie that slowly opens up the plot as it goes on and leaves you wondering what or how happens next, then you will like this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A big ammount of nothing happens. And when it does, it's pretty much ripping off Enemy Mine, which wasn't that great to begin with. An overlong and overextended Star Trek episode and not of the good kind. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Pathetic clone of Predator that does not even belong to be mentioned in the same sentence so pardon my hypo criticism Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Frances H Interesting sci fi movie, but the ending. setting up for a sequel, was disappointing and not very logical.
