James Rhodes (Jeff Daniels) arrives in Mexico looking to assist the locals with a labor dispute involving a factory owned by an American corporation. Once in the small town, which sits just across the border, James finds out that a handful of citizens have wound up dead just outside of city limits, on U.S. soil. Realizing that the deaths may actually be murders linked to the labor dispute, James contacts a friend (James Spader) in the U.S. government to help him look into the case.

David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...James Spader is undoubtedly at his scene-stealing best here as a smarmy government agent. Audience Member A little slow in spots, but a nice entertaining movie. Don't know why it only got 30%, I mean it's Raymond Reddington!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member An oldie movie but it wasn't too bad with an interesting storyline. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Given the star power, I would have expected a better presentation. Not at fault, for being a "bad" movie, however, it's slow build and "made for tv movie" feel, left much to be desired. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Despite the best efforts of Jeff Daniels and the criminally underutilized James Spader, I Witness falls flat. The script is a bit of a mess, the action sequences bland and uninspired, giving the film an overall TV movie feel. While Portia de Rossi, partner to Ellen Degeneres, is sexy, she was a liability for this film. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member W: 1. Not the best but if you are bored... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved it. Solid acting and a great ending. I didn't know a thing about the movie before watching it so I was very pleasantly surprised by this one. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
