As a narrative feature, it’s shaky; as a vehicle for Judy Garland, it’s a must-see. Go to Full Review

A significant rendering for Judy Garland fans, I Could Go On Singing is deserving of wider renown than merely the last star vehicle of a legendary performer. Go to Full Review

Miss Garland can act almost as well as she can sing, and she is expertly supported by Dirk Bogarde as her exlover and Gregory Phillips as their son. Go to Full Review

Rod O Feb 20 If you ever wanted to see raw nerve acting at its finest! Pay close attention to the argument between Judy and Dirk. “ I stayed out of the way as long as your wife was around!” How Judy wonderfully plays being a little sheepish in the car, suspecting that he knows something and is angry with her. And then going full blast during the disagreement. Also the heartbreaking phone conversation between Judy’s character and her son. This is pure acting. With no one on the other line, much of the dialogue being impromptu on Judy’s part. Making a very heartbreaking scene. And of course, her performance up By Myself is a legendary! See more S R @ScottR 09/18/2023 Painful to see Garland in her last year. She is still powerful and will always be a Hollywood legend. Saw on TCM. See more Angelo R 09/07/2023 One of my favorite Judy Garland movies. Really shows off her acting skills and a great chance to see her concert performances. Love it. See more 02/01/2020 One of my all time favorite singers/actresses, I can't believe I've never seen this movie. Yes, it's slim on plot line but what musical isn't.???. Her hair is abysmal but I'm so glad to have seen Judy singing again. Love you Judy. See more 12/28/2019 Very moving. It is more common in films that a Mom raise a child that seldom has little or No contact with the dad. Here it is the opposite. Dirk Bogarde plays the responsive parent, but he is portraied as a stiff bore. In this film Judy Garland shows She is a great actress as well as a Singer. I think the film is a little sentimental.
