Roger S f you're in the mood for some lighthearted fun and action in a futuristic sci-fi setting, this film is a great pick. It doesn't take itself too seriously and feels like a road trip movie, taking you on a captivating journey from start to finish. It gave me vibes similar to Love and Monsters with Dylan O'Brien, and the lead actress and voiceover reminded me of Emma Stone in Easy A or Millie Bobby Brown in Enola Holmes. The characters are incredibly likable and relatable, with banter that's so natural it feels almost too real at times. While it might not be a life-changing cinematic experience, it's perfect for a casual watch—whether you're having dinner or relaxing on a lazy, hungover Sunday. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/10/24 Full Review Mia B The filmmakers skillfully avoid taking the premise too seriously, resulting in an engaging and thoroughly enjoyable experience. The characters are endearing, their interactions brimming with charm, and a sense of joy shines through even amidst adversity, creating a world that feels hopeful rather than bleak. I Heart Robots proves that dystopian films can be both fun and touching, making it a standout in the genre. For those who love dystopian stories with a lighter, heartfelt twist, this movie is a must-watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/06/24 Full Review Amelia R The characters were likable, and the voiceover made it easy to connect with the lead and the world she was navigating—familiar yet sweetly portrayed. There were so many wonderful moments; we absolutely loved the scenery. I thought director Justin Price did an excellent job infusing heart and fun into what could have been a heavy subject. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/06/24 Full Review Vanity 8 This sweet, heartwarming film is a joy to watch, with lovable characters and a standout Emotional Support Robot named Q whose antics steal the show. At around 75-80 minutes, it’s the perfect length to keep you entertained without dragging. A delightful, lighthearted movie that’s easy to recommend! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/04/24 Full Review Brendan K Franzi Schissler shines as a fierce survivor in a world torn apart by a clash between humans and robots. The film delivers gritty, post-apocalyptic vibes with a surprisingly fun edge. Danny Trejo's arrival guarantees some serious intensity, and while the CGI isn't blockbuster-level, it adds to the raw, underground aesthetic. Beyond the explosive action, the story weaves in subtle commentary on technology, humanity, and control. If you’re a fan of offbeat sci-fi with heart and a hefty dose of adrenaline, this one’s definitely worth your time. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/04/24 Full Review Sue K There literally was no beginning, middle or end. At some points it was like chunks were just skipped. I don't know what they were trying to do with this "movie". Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/02/24 Full Review Read all reviews
