Tom Milne Time Out The sterling cast can make no headway against cartoon characters, a fatuous script that defies belief, and an enveloping sense of hysteria. Audience Member Obviously made during the height of the Cold War this drama is a tad highstrung but good acting puts it over. Any movie with Robert Ryan is worth checking out for him alone. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Unremarkable propaganda-minded B-movie. The cheesy communists as deadly organized crime group motif is mildly amusing, but not enough rise it above being anything but a predictable, mediocre potboiler. Some nice black and white photography by Nicholas Musuraca, though. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member The Cold War is not over as long as the largest population on earth is Communist. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member good but loaded with propaganda. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Simple story - yet well enacted to demonstrate political coercion & manipulation.
