Stunning, absolutely stunning scenery and cinematography. Acting, solid enough. Cavespeak not necessary to understand the film - that was fun. But a dull as goat turds story line that is as predictable (but for one ooops did the earth just open to eat me scene) as it is cliche heavy. A revenge flick s'all complete with your standard opening copulation scene and ruthless kill scenes. Caveman gets revenge then surprise not surprise second ending and dies in the snow anyway. One extra half-star for pointing out the obvious, humans suck and revenge begets revenge begets, ok, you got and we have been at it for like ever. P.S. Better closing music would have been Frank Sinatra singing That's Life or Pharrel Williams' Happy. Beautifully filmed and wonderfully acted it had me pondering how man could have survived such an unforgiving environment.
