Runa R I thought it would be just another silly French comedy, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The film is genuinely engaging thanks to the reversal of roles we're used to seeing between Africans and Europeans. The laughter shared by the Africans in the barbershop — whether in reaction to the white man’s words or the black man’s — feels completely genuine, and I believe everyone watching ends up laughing too.
