An alright romance, but nothing great compared to other better romance films. I would say this is one of Chloe Moretz better performances in her career, so that's a plus. But I couldn't help but feel that the film was filled to the brim with basic romance tropes and cliches. I think the book executed it a little better compared to what the movie did, and the ending was very abrupt and out of nowhere, it could have been executed better. While the film does touch upon deep themes and messages, the movie also suffers from it's pacing, meaning it can get quite boring at times. But all the flaws aside, while it's not as executed as well as the book, it's an alright romance that's certainly not a bad watch but not amazing as you want it to be as well.

This movie is proof that critics are Critical! So much so, that they don't know a great movie when they see one. Now I generally never watch movies like this one because they elicit too much emotion, but this movie was captivating. It is proof that every movie is not a repeat of something you have seen before. It speaks to life on a deeper level and might just make you stop and think , "What if"? Live is short and we are not in control, so stay in your lane. Try to live right because today might be your last. If this movie doesn't move you then you might not have a pulse.

I loved this movie. At first it was very confusing but as it went on I started to love it. It shows all her memories the good and bad. Honestly her decision in the end was very confusing. Like you live because your partner wrote you a song? I know its much deeper than that but that how it seems, but she realized how much she was loved and how much she's going to miss out on. I really want a second movie. What she's going to do with her life and future now that all her family ( mom, dad, and little brother) died.
