See more Jul 28, 2020 I really enjoyed this movie but I was surprised that Katie's mom, sister and neighbor knew that Jimmy was beating her and didn't say anything to her dad who was a cop. I would have after she asked me if my spouse ever hit me or after I saw bruises all up and down her back or after I saw the bringing the baby home from the hospital incident at least and even if I convinced Katie to leave Jimmy or if I made her promise to leave him if he beat her again or if I saw her try to leave him, I still wouldn't take chances.
