Audience Member I thoroughly enjoyed If You Believe and thought it was fresh, well-made, and had an inspiring plotline. The only thing is the lead guy reminds some of Mr. Rogers, so that might detract for some. I find the movie really cool and inspiring for new beginnings. If you believe. Hayden is absolutely adorable as a manifestation of the inner child of Ally Walker's character. This film has heart, but poor writing hampers the storytelling; ironic considering the main character's occupation as a book editor trying to turn manuscripts lacking focus in literary masterpieces. Still a nice movie to watch, though I'd recommend ignoring the last 5 minutes because they make practically no sense.
