In this Filipino update of Emily Bronte's "Wuthering Heights," Gabriel (Richard Gomez) is a child of the slums who is taken in by a wealthy family and given work as a stableboy. Gabriel quickly develops a close bond with Carmina (Dawn Zulueta), the family's daughter, and as the years pass, their friendship turns into love. Unfortunately, class distinctions taint their romance, and the entrance of Alan (Eric Quizon), a rich suitor of Carmina, leads to jealousy, estrangement and tragedy.

Jam M I just rewatched this classic in Netflix and I was still blown away by this film. It is one of the best adaptation of Wuthering Heights. The entire cast, the direction, cinematography were all excellent. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/15/22 Full Review Read all reviews
