Anna N its such a beautiful story and is full of hope and compassion!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/10/23 Full Review Jason T It's an Exceptional Movie Based on Faith One has with the Lord, And the Warmness-Kindness One Display when one has a relationship with The Lord & Covers the Impact Rachel Joy Scott had on Million's of lives & Continue's to this Day to be So Heartwarming & Nurturing to the Spirt. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/23/23 Full Review S H Beautiful and moving! Negative reviews from anti-christian critics is a given with faith baser movies like this. Take it as an extra stamp of approval! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/18/23 Full Review Daniel B The only gripe I had with this movie is that the dialogue at the beginning was not very well written and a lot of lines felt forced. Once the movie got to the second act the characters seemed to get more into their element. For all the people who say that this movie uses Columbine to preach at people or push religion, you somehow missed the premise of the film. This film isn't about the Columbine shooting… this is a film about Rachel Scott who was a professing Christian. This is a movie that has the Columbine shooting in it because an amazing girl with so much left to give was tragically taken from the world through the hands of vile and evil people. This movie spoke to me and touched me deeply and I am so glad I watched it as a recent graduate of high school. This connects to Christian teens struggles to put God above all the things that seem good in the world. How Christian depression is real and should be better addressed in the Church. How even when you come back to God not all your problems go away (something that is hardly addressed in most other Christian films). You can see that up until the moment she dies Rachel was still a broken person, because no Christian isn't no one can put it all together. To sum up this movie isn't about Columbine but about Rachel and since the story of her life ended with Columbine the movie has Columbine in it. This movie is about Rachel's struggles to be a good Christian through the trying times of high school and being a teen which are hard on everyone to some degree. About how she made a change in her life and in her death that inspires many to be better live better and as she would say cause a chain reaction. Marjorie Baumgarten Austin Chronicle The film is not likely to lure any converts. Rated: 1/5 Oct 27, 2016 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times Even though this is a (mostly) true story, the forced ironies of having infamous teen mass-murderers interact with the heroine feels more than a little exploitative. Oct 21, 2016 Full Review Vadim Rizov AV Club Ultimately it's just another vehicle for a series of scenes in which devout characters remind each other that God has it all under control. Rated: D+ Oct 21, 2016 Full Review Louisa Moore Screen Zealots This biopic is no doubt for the devout, but this isn't a completely unwatchable movie like so many others in the devotional genre. Rated: 2/5 Dec 20, 2018 Full Review Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Factual story of one Columbine victim, a devout Christian. Rated: 2/5 Mar 14, 2017 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed I'm sure in reality Rachel Joy Scott was a nice person with good intentions and a fine heart. I just wish we could hear her story without an agenda attached to it. Jan 18, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews
