Spencer Olham (Gary Sinise) had a perfect life: a loving family and a beautiful wife (Madeleine Stowe). On Tuesday evening he went to bed an acclaimed and well-respected scientist. Critics Consensus

With its low production value and uninspired direction, Impostor comes off as a mixture of The Fugitive and Blade Runner, only not as good or as involving.

Feb 2 Feels like a short story inflated to feature length, which it is. Patchy effects and sluggish narrative are particular problems for enjoyment. It's good to see D'Onofrio in a prominent position, and the casting is good - perhaps the only thing they spent money on. See more Jan 2 Oh wow, you can clearly see from the rating that you need a lot of money to get a positive rating. And these movies are usually terrible! Impostor is great sci-fi! The tension in the film remains constant and increases exponentially at the end, with a successful ending. Yes, it is a B-movie, but with a very good script that amazed me at the end. Also incredibly well acted. The soundtrack isn't bad either! There is nothing to complain about here! See more Oliver B Dec 28 Very good.
