Audience Member Every racing fan needs to see this movie. Sure, it's not the MOST professionally produced doc of all time. No it isn't the most polished doc of all time. However, if you like racing or were a fan of NASCAR at the time, you need this. You need to hear the story. What is it? Real. That's what it is. Watch it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member It was an interesting story reminded of me of Groundhog Day with a mix of the end times. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member It. It was really weird and crazy but it was really good I really enjoy it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member great movie on how we must have more than just a knowing of God, we should have a relationship with our Lord and Savior. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member "In the Blink of an Eye" is pretty much "Left Behind" meets "Groundhog Day" meets "The Love Boat". That's not to say it's a terrible film; I expected it to be just that, but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. The acting and filmography were actually pretty good for a no-name, direct-to-video flick; the blue-green waves looked wonderful on my flat-screen TV. The story, although implausible and unrealistic, was engaging, though there was a pokey moment or two. As far as content goes, there was no profanity, and, although the bulk of this movie takes place around water, all the swimsuits that the female characters wore were pretty modest; "Soul Surfer" this was not. The violence, however, is a concern; there was some gunplay right from the opening scene, and, later, we see one character hit in the head and thrown off the boat, and another character shot, with the wall behind him/her covered with blood. Such violence likely won't bother anyone over thirteen, but I wouldn't recommend watching this with those around kindergarten age or younger. Other than that, I can't think of any other problems besides the story itself. I don't want to give too much away, but I will say this: If you have/had a problem with Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins' writings about the end times, "In the Blink of an Eye" is not for you. Those who agreed with "Left Behind," or just accepted it as fiction and/or two people's interpretation of things no one can fully understand, will probably like this. This would make a good rental for a Christian couple's date night; other than that, I don't know if anyone else would like it. I'm sure you can purchase it for cheap; I bought it at MovieStop for three bucks, and the movie just came out three years ago. If you do find it for a good price, see it for yourself; you might be surprised. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Good christian groundhog/ rapture day movie. If only we all had a chance like that. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
