Dennis Harvey Variety Things like drinking games and "RiffTrax" were invented for movies like "In the Forest," which are very bad but need a little participatory help to become so-bad-they're-good. Jan 28, 2022 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat A flawed but fun and engaging little flick that is worth watching once. Rated: 7/10 Feb 25, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Lana L Another independent film which (1) has no-name, untrained actors; (2) so-so dialog; (3) low production values; (4) basic cinematography; (5) cheap budget. I am so tired of the onslaught of these films being dumped onto streaming services. Most of the free films on both YouTube and Amazon are of this caliber. Junk, junk, and more junk in a ceaseless, streaming series of junk films. If it's made after 2016, 90% of the time, it's going to be this type of poorly crafted film. Even those with actors who were once reputable, are poorly directed, filmed, and produced. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/21/24 Full Review Audience Member How the hell did this movie get 84% ? I watched it because I saw that but this was the dumbest movie ever. Pretty bad acting and writing and nothing was ever explained, not during the movie nor at the end. We are left with all these questions. Like what was up with the toenail painting, seemingly just randomly thrown in? How did the kids get like this, what was wrong with them? Horrible. Would NOT recommend. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/03/24 Full Review Joshua m So unbelievably bad. Works better as a parody. But even then. Wow. Worst acting I have ever seen. Maybe worst everything. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Nick C One of the genuinely worst films I have ever seen. I was rooting for the supposed villains all the way through. Unlikeable heroes with no end of stupid moments with the mother constantly hugging the daughter at inopportune times. The daughter was absolutely useless and only there to ensure most of the characters met a grisly end due to her gross negligence. The ending provided no closure or explanation. Made with a budget of £2.50 I'd say. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/26/23 Full Review The R Majority of reviews are negative but I didn't think the film was that bad. The acting, by and large, wasn't too bad. The plot was pretty good. The ending was puzzling, as I couldn't figure out what happened to Andrew and Natalie. All in all, 3 stars from me. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/16/23 Full Review Elda Jarleh A The movie was suspense and it gives me thrill, but reason why i gave bad reviews is theres so many questions that left on me after i end watching it? Why the mother hid that boy and his sister? And what happen to them when they leave them there? They call police for help??its another stupid yet enjoyable movie.
