Audience Member I was very surprised by this movie. The gore was top notch. There were plenty of stellar performances, particularly Robert Loggia. It's a fun horror/gangster combo. It's easy to criticize a vid with such a wacky premise, but it works, and it works damn good. 100% Fresh to me Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review robert p I cannot for the life of me find this low brow movie funny in the least. The director just wants to make up his own mythology about Vampires. For Instance Vampire cannot see themselves in mirrors. And throwing in Don Rickles was just for sake of having a big name actor (if you can call him that)! This movie was so cheesy I cant believe anyone laughed at this. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review steve d Parillaud makes it watchable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I REALLy enjoyed this campy movie - the performances, storyline and jokes were great, and Anne Parillaud was definitely instrumental in providing a strong lead role. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Very unique and interesting concept. There's some great bits in it, but the lead is completely unlikeable and kills any chance at getting invested in the movie. With someone else in the role, it could've been something great. The idea alone of a French vampire accidentally resurrecting a mobster to run around Pittsburgh as a creature of the night wreaking havoc, is something ripe for something fresh. There were some really great effects too. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/19/18 Full Review john l Enjoyable film... especially if you grew up eating at the Oyster House.
