Murty C This is the original Swedish 1936 movie "Intermezzo", which was shown recently on Turner Classic Movies as part of a series of early Ingrid Bergman movies. The story is fairly predictable - music professor falls for his daughter's music teacher played by Ingrid Bergman, who keeps this humdrum movie alive. Worth watching just to see what a difference she single-handed makes. I should also mention that the two little girls are dangerously adorable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/05/21 Full Review Audience Member This is the film that made Bergman, also a great performance by Gösta Ekman. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review s r A touching tale about a midlife crisis that breaks up a family. It was impressively made and entertaining. Bergman was gorgeous, maybe my favorite role of hers. Ekman was also good. Saw on HBO. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
