Luisa (Victoria Abril) lives in Spain with her husband, Ramiro (Antonio Valero), and their children. One day, she learns that Angel (Imanol Arias), her ex-husband -- who is also an estranged childhood friend of Ramiro's -- is now a sickly vagrant in the city. She invites him to live with them, rekindling their feelings and creating a love triangle in the house. This heated situation pushes both men into rage-filled jealousy, especially as Angel grows ill and earns the sympathy of Luisa.
