Benjamin Lee Guardian Hardcore crime fans are the prime audience, but they're already heavily catered to elsewhere by writers with far more ingenuity. This is everything they've seen before. Rated: 2/5 May 28, 2020 Full Review Witney Seibold Critically Acclaimed Podcast Predictable and forgettable at the same time. Nov 3, 2020 Full Review Barbara Shulgasser Common Sense Media So-so subtitled crime thriller has language, violence. Rated: 2/5 Jun 16, 2020 Full Review Alejandro Turdó Hoy Sale Cine La Corazonada's poor production values, stiff acting and uninspired script writing generates a vast amount of involuntary chuckles, making it harder to keep a straight face as its by-the-numbers plot boringly unveils. Rated: 4/10 Jun 4, 2020 Full Review John Serba Decider At the risk of sounding glibly dismissive, Intuition is boring and it sucks. May 28, 2020 Full Review Pablo O. Scholz Clarín [Luisana Lopilato and Joaquín Furriel] alternately occupy the screen... and they carry all the weight. [Full review in Spanish] May 26, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Gabriel S La Corazonada is like a predecessor of Perdida (2018), which feels weird, but that's how the movie industry goes — well, on the same note, for those who don't know, Angels and Demons is actually the first book on the Langdon series, but the first movie made was actually The Da Vinci Code. Like I said: movie industry, man. Anyway, La Corazonada, or, in English, Intuition (???) shows officer Pipa on her early days, and I think that's where the problems begin. I've watched Perdida, and I know who Pipa is, so I was expecting that Intuition would give me more context to her background, but that doesn't happen. What we get is a generic crime story that slightly hints at what happens in Perdida. (I know that there is a third installment, Pipa (2022), which should close the loop somehow. Gonna have to watch it.) As a standalone, Intuition is funny enough. The plot itself is entertaining, good on keeping us hooked to get to the truth. The final revelation is algo satisfying. Now, Intuition as part of Pipa's arc, it's dismissable; it does not add to her arc at all. Regardless of both points to the story, Intuition is a good movie. I'd recommend it as a thriller or crime drama. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/04/23 Full Review Audience Member It's really bad in every aspect. Imagine that the film starts with a huge cringy amount of exposition, so you know from the start that things will not go very well.
