The greatest 01 hour: and 40 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member i truely love the inuyasha series, and this movie is no exeption. the plot is that of a typical anime spinoff movie, yet its a perfect fit for this shonen. all i have to critique is the art style and finale battle. as for the former, the normal early inuyasha style is a typical 90s- early 2000s style, but in the movie the eyes become too big and faces too small, adding a great deal of displeasure when watching a heartfelt scene and you see the eyes of a literal demon stare back, but its not too bad. the final battle also isnt bad. i didnt dislike the battle at all, in fact its a 7.5/10, but its almost like a generic episode battle. its much too short and easliy won, for something with an effect that lasted through centuries. its not bad though, 8.5/10 for me :)- mi Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review andy h With all the elements of animation and storytelling being colorful, it's a rare successor to an animation regardless of canon to please fans and newcomers. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Generally enjoyable self-contained chapter of fantasy anime with action based on sword and sorcery in one total fusion used by likeable characters with their own defining charms, as well arcs being grasped by fine seriality for those who aren't particularly familiar but still curiously compelled to test out whether it pass the worthwhile binge test. This constantly animated theatrical debut casted a supportive spell of generic storytelling with temporarily increased stakes is typically more entertaining for the fanatically frequent viewers and manga readers, while others can fit through with no need to go further. (B) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member The first Inuyasha feature length movie. The fights and all not very exciting. 2 female demon Ruri & Hari try to attack Sesshomaru and take his sword but were kill instantly by him. Then a voice tells them to find Inuyasha as he hold the sword of destruction (Tessaiga). This new baddie is Menomaru. His father rules the continent hundreds of years ago and fought with Inuyasha father but was defeated. Menomaru create havoc among the friends first. Kirara was implanted with a brainwash fang and switch side. Hari duplicate Miroku "Wind Tunnel". Kagome is also caught and implant with the brainwash fang. Inuyasha unleash power and broke the spell that bound the power in Menomaru HQ. For his family of king, they absorb power of the previous ones and gain more power. Menomaru who is already quite powerful now absorb generations of power to be fearsome. He control Kagome to attack Inuyasha. Kikyo appear and ask Kagome to go back to her time as chaos has already unfold throughout time. She fell into the well and it is seal by the baddie as the wood that make the well is from the same tree Menomaru is resting. Kagome world is snowing heavily. Somehow she manage to talk to Inuyasha via that tree. Inuyasha tell her to use arrow to strike through the well in order to return. Sango manage to make Kirara awaken to her senses and win her opponent. Miroku fight head on wind tunnel against the copycat and Hari gets suck into her own wind tunnel instead. A fate which Miroku know will happen to him eventually. Menomaru unleash hell and absorb all living souls to power up even more. Becoming a giant, Inuyasha and Kagome combine to defeat him, using her sacred arrow to pierce through his barrier and use Backlash Wave to reverse Menomaru power back into his barrier.
