Kevin Maher Times (UK) This is no-budget, no-clue and no-chance film-making. Rated: 1/5 Dec 9, 2019 Full Review Leslie Felperin Guardian The performances, apart from those of the lead actors, are often painfully stiff, but presumably the cast had to do a lot of reacting to tennis balls on sticks in green-screen studios. Rated: 2/5 Dec 4, 2019 Full Review Peter Gray The AU Review This isn't a good film ... but it's bizarrely entertaining, even if it is for all the wrong reasons. Rated: 2/5 Oct 5, 2020 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media Clunky, low-budget sci-fi has some violence, adult themes. Rated: 1/5 Mar 12, 2020 Full Review Sarah Cartland Caution Spoilers You can't fault director Simon Cox's ambition, making a low budget film about an alien invasion. This is an uneven movie that often tries to do too much, and not just in its special effects - but when it does work, it's impressive. Rated: 2/5 Dec 5, 2019 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Shooting for the stars should always be commended but Cox falls short, leaving us stuck in a cloud. Kevin H From the title and previews I expected a typical low budget sci-fi Alien Invasion Pic and after learning the hard work and years of crowdsourcing to film I give credit for being able to pull off what they did. However nothing can save the script filled with a Swiss cheese of plot holes. SPOILERS AHEAD. Our lead character and several of his patients are abducted to the mother ship. The next section is just several various dreams and visions, including our MC and friends crashing on another planet, destroying an Alien Ship witha ROCK and being abducted again anyway thus leaving the viewer to wonder if the movie will end that way which is pretty much what happens with our character sleeping in the Alien mothership. Had the story continued with him and friends living on, trying to escape, save humanity, etc from these never seen Aliens it would have had potential. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/27/25 Full Review Mitchell M So we all started out like a sci-fi invasion, then alien abductions, then we meet the psychotics, alien ships exploding causing metor dropping, and then the zombies show up trying to eat everyone. We jump from a barren earth, to a movie theater and then to an art museum. Confused? I'm an hour into the movie and I have no idea what is going on. The acting is stiff, the script is confusing....Pass on this one. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/31/24 Full Review Kiersten C This movie is absolutely phenomenal! I would highly recommend it to every single person I come in contact with. The emotion is like no other movie I have ever seen. The whole time I was on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what happens next. The effects really added to the movie and made it into the great movie it is. 10/10 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review AJ M This movie starts out a little slow and then gets a little bit confused in the middle. There is a mish-mash of time-travel and alternate scenarios during this middle part. Then, towards the end it all comes together and there is the surprise, eureka moment - the aliens aren't here to destroy us. Go watch the movie. It's available for free on YouTube. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/24 Full Review s h This movie has the the best invasion on earth sequence with the most ships attacking earth we've ever seen in any film. The so called critics who criticised this movie are clearly missing any Filmaking talent, but once they make a better movie we'll be open to their so called criticism Invasion Planet Earth is on Amazon Prime and is This is masterpiece of low budget, intelligent, well-informed film-making endeavor. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review VIVES D this movie is a total bullshit. I feel I need to recover and get fresh air, the scenario, the staging, the actors it all kinda suck your brain. Don't hurt yourself, stay away from this movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/22 Full Review Read all reviews
