Rated: B Aug 18, 2015 Full Review Paul Chambers Movie Chambers True greatness. The invisible man was perfect as a behind-the-enemy-lines spy during World War II. Plenty of humor and thrills in this action film, featuring a very recognizable supporting cast, including Keye Luke and Peter Lorre. Rated: A- Oct 26, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews

Steve D More of a spy movie than a horror one but it surprisingly works. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/23 Full Review Audience Member The Invisible Man becomes a master spy in "The Invisible Agent". I was a bit skeptical about this movie going in, but I must admit it was much better than I expected. Yes, it is not perfect, but it is a very good movie. The cast is actually quite good. The late Jon Hall is very good as the hero of this movie as Frank Griffin, Jr. the grandson of the original invisible man who is asked by the United States Government to help in the fight against the Axis Powers during World War 2. Griffin is asked to use his grandfather's formula in order to infiltrate Nazi strongholds to obtain vital information regarding a planned attack on the United States by the Nazis and obtain a list of Nazi and Japanese spies currently working in the United States. Hall is helped by a very good supporting cast. The late Ilona Massey is actually very good as Maria Sorenson. Hall's contact in Nazi territory and eventual love interest (Who saw that coming.). Much to my surprise the movie held my interest from start to finish. The climax is actually very well done and the invisible man effects are quite impressive. Overall, "The Invisible Agent" is actually a very good and entertaining movie that is worth seeing. Give it a look when you can! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Liam D Despite an questionable casting choice the invisible side of the universal monsters series goes further away from the horror but it's still a very entertaining espionage thriller Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/14/22 Full Review Audience Member Now this is how you do it if you want to turn Invisible Man into a screwball comedy. It's a fun adventure film, that feels like the natural progression for a character like this. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/06/20 Full Review andrew k The Invisible Man joins the war effort for the allies during WWII. A fairly entertaining for a war-era propaganda film. Racially problematic in spots though, as so many films of this time period were. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review anthony w Though another odd turn for the story of the invisible man, it's still unique and serves as a product of its time but in a good way.
