dave j Misleading poster cover in which Bolo Yeung is not the star of theis straight to rental movie, but really stars Korean martial artist Britton K. Lee as officer John Keem moving to LA to investigate the death of his partner. Who eventually uncover a human trafficking ring lead by Australian martial artist Richard Norton as Milverstead Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The poster for this movie heavily promotes the presence of Bolo Yeung in a movie directed by Robert Clouse. It does that because if you knew going in that most of this movie was devoted to producer/star Britton K. Lee, you'd think twice about investing an hour and a half of your life to it. I have no idea who Lee is, but it's no accident that this is his one and only film credit. He cannot really speak English, nor can he act, or really do martial arts very well. He plays an L.A. cop who's partner is killed in Portland by a gang of drug dealers who are kidnapping women because who fucking cares why? Richard Norton and Bolo Yeung sleepwalk through this movie in search of a pay cheque. The one highlight is the multiple scenes set in a dance club that feature amusing 90's dancing. That's not worth an hour and a half of your life. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member * (out of four) Bad acting, poor direction, and routine staging sinks this martial arts film about an L.A. Cop avenging the death of his best friends by some ruthless drug lords. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
