Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews The Cortez character was never likable and his reform wasn't convincing, but his characterization as a glib slimeball was spot on. Rated: B- Oct 25, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews

ashley h Is My Face Red is a disappointing film. It is about William Poster who writes a gossip column for the Morning Gazette. Ricardo Cortez and Jill Esmond give terrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. William A. Seiter did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member good pre-code rom-dram i liked the chemistry between the 2 now forgotten leads, helen twelvetrees & ricardo cortez Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
