Trace Thurman Horror Queers Podcast It's not "good" by any stretch of the imagination, but it's so audacious in its desire to shock that it has to be seen to be believed. Rated: 3/5 Dec 30, 2020 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Though its infamous reputation precedes his debut, by today's standards, the shock value of his troubled venture is mostly laughable in its desperately handled perversities. Rated: 1.5/5 Oct 27, 2020 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Island of Death is for the most part devoid of any sense of purpose or meaning. GM No goats were harmed in the making of this film. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/09/22 Full Review justin t This is not good at all. The violence is really tame. The sexualised violence is bad but the music is so cheery that it sends mixed signals and destroys the hell of it. The acting is really wooden. The music repetitive. The twist at the end is good. The naked lead lady is tasty looking. Not worth watching. Tragically not shocking at all. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not bad but not great. Quite boring although fairly violent. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Was this movie trying to outdo "Cannibal Holocaust" as the most disturbing film of the 70's? It came close, but sadly, it is not nearly as entertaining and it's mostly just pointlessly violent. To hear more check out my YouTube show the "1200 Films Podcast". A small paragraph can't do this disaster of a film justice. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review delysid d This is one of my favourites EVER Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/16/18 Full Review Audience Member Genuinely disturbing bust also unintentionally hilarious. one of the better video nasties.
