Alexandra Heller-Nicholas AWFJ.org One of the most beautiful yet simultaneously foreboding New Zealand films ever made (which is saying something), Jack Be Nimble is a masterclass in tone, form and the power of strong performances. Oct 10, 2021 Full Review Paul Lê Bloody Disgusting Through the lens of a bleak fable, Garth Maxwell delivers a fantastical allegory about battling formative traumas. He puts his characters’ rawest emotions on full display, and he embellishes their journey with exciting direction and striking imagery. Rated: 3.5/5 Jul 23, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I ended up liking this film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Odd and pretentious horror/fairy-tale, with a well cast Arquette playing the homicidal half of a pair of separated, psychic twins. He's a clever lad, liberating himself from an evil patriarch (Tony Barry) with the use of his homemade, steam-driven hypnosis machine. It's not in the same league as Company of Wolves, Black Moon, Valerie and Her Week of Wonders or the like. But Arquette is well cast for his androgynous looks opposite the four mute, sociopathic "sisters" and Barry is great in a small but key role. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I ended up liking this film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is supposed to be scary but I just found it funny Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member It is one I would love to track down and see again. Not predictable. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This is one of the best bad movies ever made!!! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
