Michael O'Sullivan Washington Post While certainly no love story, this dry-eyed tale feels achingly, maybe even exhilaratingly alive. Rated: 3/4 Aug 28, 2014 Full Review Kimber Myers The Playlist Short and anything but sweet, "Jealousy" is a good entry point to Garrel's filmography, for those new to the director's work. Rated: 7 Aug 23, 2014 Full Review Sheri Linden Los Angeles Times Conventional dramatic hooks have no place in Garrel's filmography, so it's not surprising that his new movie is more atmospheric than involving, or that the two beautiful bed heads at its center hardly invite emotional connection. Aug 22, 2014 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com A mixed bag of visually articulate highpoints amidst of sea of stagnant moments. Rated: 3/5 Aug 30, 2019 Full Review Steve Erickson Gay City News "Jealousy" does not hit the highs of "Regular Lovers" - it's a much smaller-scale, deliberately minor work - but it's a big improvement over "Frontier of Dawn" and "A Burning Hot Summer." Feb 16, 2018 Full Review Blake Williams Cinema Scope A lifetime compressed into a simple yet evocative sweet nothing-that's really all it takes. Nov 18, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member French new wave-y in terms of style and narrative. A decent father-and-son collaboration that happens to deal with parenting (better so than with actual jealousy). Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member La Jalousie [France, 2014] a delicate art house drama that requires patience to be prized. 6/10 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Certainly not for everyone, but if you're a fan of Philippe Garrel you will be in familiar territory. Willy Kurant's cinematography is beautiful. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I wanted to take every character in this dull movie, shake them, slap them, then wash their hair because they all look dirty. Boring as heck, I give it one star for not going 90 minutes. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Toto nemalo so ziarlivostou nic spolocne Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I didn't really understand the point of this film.
