See more 06/26/2011 I first watched this film in Zimbabwe when I was 8 years old...I was deeply moved by the experience - so much so that I named my own puppy 'Jock'. It follows the travels of a young man in search of his fortune, and 'Jock' - a dog he saves along the way. There are some intense scenes (despite its PG rating) where 'Jock' fights a Baboon. Children should watch this with their parents. I've have only watched this once as an adult and it still had a big affect on me...I supposed because it brings back strong memories from my childhood, and the dog I once had as a boy.
