I generally love a romantic comedy but this one has an odd story line that seems unlikely and unbelievable. It went down fairly easily but not the kind of movie I would watch again or even recommend. Likable but shallow characters, forced mild comedy and almost no chemistry between the two leads.

Much better than expected. The writing/directing wasn't bad and the acting was quite good. Not sure who "All Canadian" is but they did a good job delivering this movie. I can only finish about 10% of the Hallmark-type movies, but I finished this one.

How about that? ... a "hallmark style" Christmas movie that was actually pretty good, and didn't prompt me to turn it off after 10 minutes (like most Christmas rom-coms do). It is watchable mostly due to the good acting of Emmanuelle Chriqui. And Chad Michael Murray was better that usual. The other actors were decent as well. The story, while not totally original, was a fun to follow story. And it doesn't hurt when my wife is enjoying the movie. That makes me want to do my best to enjoy it for her sake.
