A woman in her 30s decides to give up her safe suburban life to pursue her dreams. Julie is a stay-at-home mom tired of life's everyday doldrums. She is a voracious reader of science magazines and is inspired to pursue her GED, but her husband disapproves and Julie kicks him out. Her best friend Claire supports her decision, and they eventually begin a romantic relationship. 05/13/2014 6.5/10. Very nicely directed and the performances by Lily Taylor and Courtney Love are excellent. Believably done, great character development and a very interesting story.
