Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/03/22 Full Review jon c To survive you have to jump ship I actually never watched this on Disney channel like many when it first aired but it seemed like a simple premise starring brothers Joey, Andrew, and Matthew Lawrence Michael and his cousin Tommy are off to Australia for an exciting vacation They think it's a luxury cruise aboard a yacht but theyre actually charting an old fishing boat Things get more dicey when modern pirates target their vessel and they have to abandon ship Washed ashore on a deserted island with captain Jake hunter they have to learn to survive and work together It's not the pirates they have to deal with but also Mother Nature and the wildlife This is just an okay DCOM, there's not a lot of the pirates interacting with our leads A majority of this spends so much time on the island with these three guys There's way too much of a gap between our protagonists and antagonists which sadly sucks the fun out of this It's a middling effort from Disney Channel yet the scenery is astounding to look at as well as the bond between these young men Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This sequel to Horse Sense is very entertaining it does several things right in terms of acting, conveying the message and tone but where it slightly misses the mark is in now way feels like a true sequel everything that was set up in the first movie seems to not be in play here instead it just feels like a separate movie that happens to have these characters in it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review ryan t Not a bad movie. It wasn't as good as the first one, though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Jumping Ship The story is slowly passed but I did not feel invested in the characters. What gets me is the character that is developed the most by a back Story is the character I care the least about in the film. I felt like the Pirates needed the most developing in this film to make me get invested in the main characters. Because honestly I was starting to route for the Pirates because I did not feel the need to care for these main characters who are selfish and have no likable characteristics. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/13/20 Full Review Audience Member very good movie enjoyable I give it my best rating because on standards it is interesting to watch Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
