Kristy Puchko CinemaBlend Courteney Cox Owes The World An Apology For Her Directorial Debut Just Before I Go May 12, 2021 Full Review Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times Anchored by a nicely understated performance by Seann William Scott, "Just Before I Go" effectively juggles a wealth of genuine, at times profound, emotion with quite a bit of nutty-raunchy humor. Apr 23, 2015 Full Review Stephen Holden New York Times Lurches along a wobbly line between salacious comic nastiness and nauseating sentimentality. Apr 23, 2015 Full Review John Noonan FILMINK (Australia) At times, it's hilarious, but the tone changes so much that it becomes hard to keep up. Rock W The acting and story are good. The delivery wasn't the best, but everybody trashing it, come on, how can you not relate to it? Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/15/24 Full Review Liam D It doesn’t know if it wants to be a heartbreaking drama or goofy comedy and comes off as a bit lopsided Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/27/24 Full Review Derek D This movie is very underrated. It was a wonderful look at all the different ways lives can be complicated, screwed up and complex beneath veneers of normalcy. It gave lots of lighthearted examples of how life is never as straight forward as it looks. And finally, it showed how that's okay. It was just the right touch of comedy in a genuinely heartfelt movie. Sean William Scott is a better actor than people give him credit for. It was great getting to see him in a non-typecast role. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/16/24 Full Review Caleb H I liked it. I liked the different characters. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/08/24 Full Review chef i Ignore the naysayers because this is a good film , a great film. It captures the feelings of a specific type of person in every character. Not everyone will be able to relate to the characters or even a character but that's OK , not every story is for every person . Every time I've watched this film I've totally related to Sean William Scott's character & the whole concept as I see it & that is that most people's lives aren't as they imagined they'd be .... everyone's got some crazy going on , some disaster, pitfall , loneliness or a weird kick . Sean needs casting in more movies , he does a great job in every role he takes on. Thanks Courtney Cox for making this 🙂 . Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/13/24 Full Review Janice W I like this movie!!! Thanks!!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews
