In suburban Madrid, housewife Azucena (Neus Asensi) has suffered for years at the hands of her abusive husband, Felipe (Antonio Resines). Unfortunately, Azuncena relies on Felipe's deep pockets to provide gifts for her family and her lover, Pablo (Carlos Lozano). But when Pablo suddenly spurns her, Azuncena hatches a plan with her eccentric sister Isabel (Nathalie Seseña), gay cousin Quique (Pere Ponce) and a messenger boy named Lalo (Karra Elejalde) to rid herself of Felipe for good.
