Even if I want less of Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio as the conspirators and more of Lily Gladstone as the latter’s wife and victim, it’s impossible to deny Scorsese’s artistry. Even flawed, it’s an immense film.

Despite a runtime of 3 hours and 26 minutes, the screenplay is watertight as no time is wasted on unnecessary things, in fact, many crucial elements are added beautifully by Scorsese to make this narrative intricate.

with Leo and DeNiro back together in a film, I would've hoped to enjoy it way more than I did. Slow and almost boring, unfortunately, imo. The acting is great, but the movie is just too drawn out.
