If you love your dog - you will probably enjoy this movie. It is a pretty simple movie but it hooks you along the way and you somehow go with it. Unusual for an Australian film and you have to know another more famous Australian film called RED DOG to really get what is going on.

The new documentary will be used to raise funds for dog rescue. That's a fitting tribute to Koko, who was a special dog. Alas, this film doesn't do him justice.

As far as being an exceptionally good film about the making of a film, Koko goes far beyond the usual platitudes we often hear in "making of" docos and delves into the gritty detail and near-disasters that beset the set during the production of Red Dog.
