Luke Buckmaster Guardian Playfully explores the unconditional love offered by dogs and the emotional impact they have on humans. Rated: 3/5 Dec 4, 2019 Full Review Paul Byrnes Sydney Morning Herald The new documentary will be used to raise funds for dog rescue. That's a fitting tribute to Koko, who was a special dog. Alas, this film doesn't do him justice. Rated: 2/5 Dec 4, 2019 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue You can see why Koko became a phenomenon in his native Australia, where this charming hybrid will play best as a tribute to the enduring bond between humans and pups. Jul 28, 2023 Full Review Jim Schembri jimschembri.com As far as being an exceptionally good film about the making of a film, Koko goes far beyond the usual platitudes we often hear in "making of" docos and delves into the gritty detail and near-disasters that beset the set during the production of Red Dog. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 29, 2020 Full Review Andrew F. Peirce The Curb Koko: A Red Dog Story is the best in show. It's a genuine dogsterpiece of a film. Apr 4, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Jasper J If you love your dog - you will probably enjoy this movie. It is a pretty simple movie but it hooks you along the way and you somehow go with it. Unusual for an Australian film and you have to know another more famous Australian film called RED DOG to really get what is going on. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
