prawnda s this goes on and on with filler montage after musical number after redundant exposition monologue, and not much happens. it's severely in need of an editor, because i think there's a decent film somewhere in here, it's just buried under a metric ton of poorly fitting hallmark nonsense. the film improves towards the end, but there is just so much runtime wasted getting there. personally, i don't think that the romance aspects were necessary, and the entire film could have just been about the story that was summarized (multiple times) in the intro. these family aspects don't fit at all with what is purportedly the main theme of the film: interaction with a demon/demigod. unfortunately, that is easily the least present aspect of the over 2 hours of runtime.
