A very good subtitled Korean film. It's spaghetti western influence is fun, a Magnificent Seven feel. So glad to stumble across this. Enjoy with popcorn!!

Dongwon Kang, who plays Jo Eun, is a descendant of a pro-Japanese collaborator. You can think of him as a descendant of the German SS. The descendants of the German SS and the descendants of pro-Japanese collaborators in Korea are the same. And the movie is worth watching if you watch it without thinking about it.

An excellent blending of martial arts genre with an American Western style, pace, and feel. Even the background music lends itself to a Western atmosphere. The plot is part Robin-Hood, complete with corrupt officials and a rich and powerful enemy, and also part revenge and redemption story. If you like action scenes with weapons and hand to hand martial arts fighting, combined with Asian and Western cinematography, this is the film for you.
