Tatashi U It is always been a on going debate about Aomine vs Akashi. I am going to end this debate here. In fact, this debate isn't even close as you think. Akashi only use one move to score.. that is the ankle breaker... Without it, Akashi ability to score is just low level in GOM. Will that work on Aomine Daiki? We know Aomine is the most agile one among GOMs and also the most flexible one. The abilities of Aomine already make us question " is Ankle break going to work against Aomine ?" " What if he control his balance? ". I am going to show you a consistent feat of Aomine insane bodybalance control. As you can see in the photo.. Aomine land with his feets stably even after his body is being horizonal to the ground in the air. Even Fujimaki made a joke about how this play will make Aomine almost lose his balance in gag scene( bloopers ). Fujimaki decided not to made in canon suggest, he wants Aomine to have strong bodybalance control. If this level of losing balance couldn't make Aomine unstable, Akashi ain't doing anything to Aomine on offense. Without ankle break, Akashi is going to get low diff by Aomine in one on one. Aomine bodybalance > Akashi ankle break. Now let's move to how would Aomine score on Akashi Emperor eye? Emperor eye is all about anticipating the opponent moves. And Aomine moves rely on how his opponent reacts.. As mentioned by Midorima, It is impossible to read Aomine moves because his attacks are all based on how his opponents react to him. So basically saying... If Akashi predict Aomine move, Aomine will change his move in mid way... As you can see on above photo... Kise predict Aomine move yet Aomine force his way into another move. That is not only the main issue here.. Aomine always dribble using shallow dribbling... which means his hand is always close to the ball and the floor. If Akashi try to steal, Aomine hand will always be closer to the ball than Akashi. As fast as Aomine is, he is easily changing his move in midway before akashi hand reach the ball. Aomine always make his opponents keep guessing with his change of pace attack. As you can see on the photo, Aomine interpreted his pattern of crossover before it cross on the floor. There are multiple times, Aomine had show us he is excellent change of pace dribbler. Aomine change of pace and shallow dribble> Akashi steal. Predicting Aomine will be most difficult one Akashi about to do.. he may or may not can predict. Akashi need some time to predict as simple as Midorima sky drive three, which has only one passing lane to pass to between Takao and Midorima. Aomine movements are much harder than that one... Even if Akashi would be able to predict somehow, stealing from Aomine is still impossible. Even Kuroko who knows Aomine the best yet not able to once in canon. According to Kuroko QEE logic... Kuroko should be able to predict on Aomine and make a steal yet he didn't even once. Aomine change of pace and shallow dribbling > Akashi Emperor steal Another thing about Emperor eye is, it has short range on defense. Aomine can randomly score outside of that range... Not to mention, Aomine can score without looking at net... He can keep his eyes on Akashi all the time. Aomine ability to score > emperor eye Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/08/25 Full Review Read all reviews
