When Kazuo Takayama (Masato Hagiwara) is exposed to a religious cult that specializes in fake miracles, he joins the group, not out of belief but out of admiration for their convincing performances. Although the cult is led by Tetsuharu (Kôji Tamaki), an elderly man of actual faith, con artist Daisuke (Beat Takeshi) is the one who pulls the strings.
