Monica Reid Far Out Magazine This is a charming and honest account of unexpected fame and the challenges that went with it, as well as a portrait of the woman behind it all. Rated: 3.2/5 Aug 27, 2018 Full Review Brendan Kelly Montreal Gazette Instead, the filmmakers turn it into something of a didactic drama, ramming home the idea that La Bolduc was a feminist hero...But this film remains worth seeing. Serge L There are a lot of details in the film that reminds of these years. But it is not explained too much. Kids death too numerous without explanations. The film is great but it feels like this could almost become a miniserie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/22/21 Full Review Audience Member Quel magnifique film! Très touchant, drôle et triste par moments. Debbie Lynch-White nous offre toute une performance! Allez-le voir, vous ne serez pas déçus et en apprendrez beaucoup sur la vie de La Bolduc, qui disons n’a pas été très facile. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/26/18 Full Review Read all reviews
