Synopsis
After a string of terrorist attacks in France, Judge Gilles Boulouque is appointed to conduct a high-profile investigation. In 1987 he interviews and releases an Iranian man thought to be a key member of a terrorist network, and a public outcry ensues. Suspected of cutting deals with extremists, Boulouque's reputation is effectively destroyed, and he's soon driven to suicide. Documentary filmmaker William Karel revisits these event as seen through the eyes of Boulouque's daughter, Clemence.
