Audience Member For a 1934 movie in a society with old fashioned morals like Mexico's, this movie was shocking. The theme of prostitution is not a new one but the photography, the lighting and the composition are amazing. Not to be missed by fans of Mexican cinema during its golden age. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Very bold and cool movie about a poor girl forced into prostitution. The photography is gritty and great, very much like a film noir going awry and dirty! The main character is compltely in debt to Marlene Dietrich's pose, the plot is fragmented, deliriously odd and melodramatic and in a little more than an hour you have it all - suicide, incest, sex, random nudity, violence, prostitution. Again, very bold for its time and an interesting piece if just for that! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member hola como estan esta pelicula me gusto mucho de verdad Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member WEB.
