M 🇨🇴 Esta película dramática narra la historia de una refugiada colombiana desterrada por el conflicto armado que intenta rehacer su vida en una casa de huéspedes ubicada a orillas de un gran lago en los Andes, en medio del silencio, la bruma y el agua. Con un ritmo excesivamente lento, no cumple las expectativas y se empeña en formular más preguntas sobre la historia que en contar o mostrar lo que realmente sucede en ella. Se siente incompleta y sin un propósito aparente, excepto el de mostrar bellos paisajes que bien se podrían ver en un álbum fotográfico. Puede que sea muy realista en ciertos aspectos, pero a veces esa cotidianidad aburre en el sentido cinematográfico. I think when a person comes face to death or survival you become more sensitive to people who are facing it or walking through it. I really liked this movie La Sirga. With people who are facing tragedy or trying to survive comes more understanding and compassion. Great use of sound and the refusal of the director/screenwriter to highlight causes and effects forces the viewer to pay close attention to the smallest details, because nothing is presented in crayon.
