03/01/2015 It was very interesting to see John Wayne is such a different role, as a crusading district attorney. See more 03/27/2014 ok pic from republic pictures See more 04/12/2012 I laughed a lot while watching this movie, mostly at this movie. Is it significant that the main villain is called "Blackie"? That, the black servants playing demeaning bit parts and the out-of-place derogatory references to "Red Indians", gypsies, etc. makes for an interesting little travel back in time to 1880s/1940s America. But I could never believe that New Orleans would ignore flood warnings and neglect the public safety, say it wasn't/ain't so... See more 01/26/2011 a bit dull, but nothing really wrong with it. Except of course for the worst racial stereotype black servant I've ever seen... See more 03/11/2009 Outstanding movie John Wayne is my family favorite actor See more Read all reviews
