Audience Member A wonderful little film, filled with great performances and dealing with a rarely talked about topic. Beautifully shot and nicely done, this film is definitely worth a viewing. Rated 3/5 Stars •  Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member El Ultimo Verano de la boyita aka "Last Summer of La Boyita" has really impressive acting from the kids. The expressions were very genuine and the lines were delivered effortlessly. And given that it's a low budget film, that's impressive! The story was good but it really left me wanting more. Though the acting was just short of great, the story itself lacked details. The ending felt rushed, this would have been a much more effective film with an extra 30 minutes added to it. If the story had filled in these blanks, I could have easily rated this little gem an 8/10 or even a 9/10. Overall: an enjoyable film that should have been longer.
